The Production Process

Pre-Production

This is where the fun begins! Pre-production is the coordination of all the logistics that set up our production for success. Depending on the genre, location, and scope of your project, we will begin by scheduling a thirty-to-sixty-minute Zoom call or in-person meeting. Keep in mind that some shoots will require us to conduct a preliminary walk-through. If that is the case, we will host the creative meeting in person—which I personally love to do. During this meeting or Zoom call, we will gather “story-focused” information about your business, customers, and intended goals for your photos. From there, we will get to work and begin preparing for your shoot. The length of time will be determined during our first meeting. As our preparation progresses, we will thoroughly communicate during this process, updating you via email every step of the way. Our phones will also be open to answer any questions that may arise.

Production

Your shoot day has arrived!! This is where your creative vison becomes a reality and all of our preparatory work pays off. Production is always a blast and we will ensure that your experience is fun and joyful. We’ll share some laughs and create amazing photos.

Post-Production

After production wraps, our first goal is to secure and back up your photos. We use multiple backup systems, both external hard drives and cloud services, to ensure nothing happens to them. From there, the culling and editing of your images begins. It’s an integral part of our process and one where we take great care. This is where we will design and accentuate the emotional impact of your photos.

Delivery

Our first step is for you to approve your edits. We put a lot of love and care within the editing process and it is important to us that you are thrilled with your photos. We will email you a private web link for you to review them. If you require additional edits, we will happily accommodate. Once the final edits have been approved, we will deliver your digital files in two ways: a private web link that will allow you to download them from the web and via We Transfer for the High Resolution versions.

Archival

Every client will receive a two-year archival service of their photos. In case something happens to your digital files, this will give you the peace of mind to know that your files will be secure with us. If you ever need a particular crop or a different file size for any your photos, please drop us a line.
