Ally Charlotte Center | Capturing Urban Energy and Design
The Ally Charlotte Center marks my second collaboration with Cooper Carry Architecture, AIA’s 2024 Firm of the Year, with three additional projects slated for later this year.
I met with lead architect Taylor Compton and her team to review the building’s priority areas. Their goal was to capture a space full of life and energy, while clearly highlighting the design elements, materials, and textures that make the building unique.
To achieve this, I planned the shoot around the times of day that best showcased the architecture. I carefully positioned people within the compositions to add scale and vibrancy, ensuring each image communicated the building’s urban energy and attention to detail. The shoot was completed in a single day, delivering a cohesive, dynamic set of images.
