Cooper Carry Architecture
Jeni’s Blakeney town center
Jeni’s at Blakeney Town Center was my final photoshoot of 2025, and it was a privilege to be working again with Hannah and the team at Cooper Carry. Their work is consistently thoughtful and beautifully executed — it’s always an honor to photograph their designs.
This project came with a bit of a seasonal race. We were working against the clock before the leaves fully dropped for winter, and I also had to navigate around holiday décor throughout the site. Timing and flexibility were key.
One of the advantages of this shoot was orientation. The primary façades Cooper Carry asked me to prioritize faced south, allowing strong, directional light from sunrise through sunset. That gave me the opportunity to explore multiple compositions throughout the day — each one revealing a slightly different dimension of the design.
There were a few practical details to manage as well. I coordinated with the onsite manager to have the fountain filled so it would reflect properly in the images. Holiday wreaths were removed in post-production, and the pavement was carefully refined to present the property in its best and most cohesive state.
Every project has its nuances — weather, seasonality, site conditions — but thoughtful preparation and detailed post-production ensure the final images reflect the design at its highest level.
If you’re an architect or designer looking to showcase your work with photography that captures both energy and detail, I’d love to help. Let’s connect and explore how to bring your designs to life.
“We recently chose Paul to shoot a project for us in Charlotte, NC, and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, Paul was incredibly professional, responsive, and easy to work with—even accommodating multiple rounds of edits without hesitation. He truly understood our vision and captured the space beautifully. The final photos are stunning and exceeded our expectations. We’re thrilled with the results and look forward to working with Paul again on future projects!

“Working with Paul Lange on the photography for Gateway 737 was a pleasure. He was well-prepared and brought a calm professionalism to the two-day shoot. He went above and beyond to ensure we captured the best of the space. His attention to detail, creativity, and eye for composition truly shine through in the final images – they are exceptional. Beyond his technical skill, Paul was easy to work with and made the entire process enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend him.”
