During our walk-through, the team highlighted key structural features they wanted to showcase—elements that set their work apart from other contractors. These insights were invaluable in shaping the approach to the shoot. I can’t overstate the importance of a thorough walk-through; the more I understand what matters most to my clients, the better I can craft images that truly reflect their vision.
To ensure the best possible results, I carefully planned the shoot around the building’s orientation to the sun, selecting optimal times for lighting and composition. Shooting on a Saturday provided a car-free location, and scheduling during a season when landscaping wouldn’t obstruct the view ensured a clean, unobstructed presentation of the architecture.
The goal was to capture the entire building from multiple perspectives when the light was at its best. These images span from an hour after sunrise to an hour before sunset, with detail shots intentionally selected to highlight key design elements.
