This photoshoot marked my first collaboration with Westend Interiors. I originally connected with Evon last year while photographing a project she designed for one of my long-term clients, Congaree Construction, a luxury general contractor based in Columbia, SC. It’s always rewarding when relationships evolve naturally into new creative partnerships.

The project was set within a stunning residential home designed by lead designer Alisa Bunch. The layered wallpapers, distinctive lighting fixtures, and carefully curated antique furnishings required thoughtful balance in every frame. Each space carried its own personality, and the goal was to honor that individuality while maintaining cohesion across the full series.

I worked closely with Alisa and Ansley throughout the day. Alisa clearly communicated what mattered most in each room, while also trusting my eye to determine when lamps should glow warmly or when natural window light best revealed the textures and tones of the materials. That collaboration created space for both intention and intuition.

The result was a diverse collection of images that highlight mood, character, and refinement within each space. Alisa was thrilled with the final outcome, and I’m genuinely looking forward to working together again.
