CLMW Architecture | Salem Bottleworks
My first collaboration with CJMW Architecture, a Winston-Salem firm with 120 years of history, was also my first restaurant photography project, and it couldn’t have been a better place to start.
We spent a full day at Salem Bottling, a historic building that has been beautifully brought back to life. Working alongside CJMW’s Director of Marketing Susan Perkins and Interior Designer Rachel Stafford, I created a collection of 19 images celebrating the architecture, interiors, and character of the space.
Susan shared a thoughtful shot list ahead of time, highlighting key architectural features throughout the complex. I planned our day around the light, timing each area so we photographed it when conditions were at their best.
Inside, every composition was carefully staged. Some images capture people enjoying the space, while quieter frames let the design speak for itself.
Working with the CJMW team was a joy, and I’m proud of how the collection came together. I’m already looking forward to our next project together, photographing an Atrium Health facility in the new year.
If you’d like photography that captures both your design and the feeling of being there, I’d love to help. Let’s connect.
“Paul has an authentic approach, excellent attention to detail, and conveys enormous care in his photography work. He was able to convey the true feeling behind each of these spaces, convey the design intent I was looking for, and tell the client’s story. I would highly recommend Paul and Lange Photo Studio for high level photography work.

“We worked with Paul on a recent residential interiors photoshoot. Paul was extremely thorough, professional, talented and very easy to work with. We can’t wait to shoot another project with Paul!”
