Gateway 737 | Reaching New Heights in Student Housing
Gateway 737 marks my third collaboration with Cooper Carry Architecture, AIA’s 2024 Firm of the Year.
Opening in August 2025, Gateway 737 has been designed with today’s college experience in mind—from vibrant communal spaces to private, fully furnished units, on-site coffee and dining, a two-story fitness center, and secured private parking.
This photo series was also created for the developer Holder Properties, New South Construction, and Metromont LLC.
The shoot spanned two and a half days, following an initial creative call and a thorough walk-through of the site. I noted which spaces needed to be captured, determined the optimal times for each, and crafted a detailed shooting schedule.
On-site, I worked closely with Abby Hawkins, the marketing director from Holder Properties, ensuring an efficient and enjoyable process. The schedule specified each space, the timeline for every shot, and the number of models required. Abby expertly coordinated the models and assisted with staging, making the day run smoothly.
Furniture was frequently moved and adjusted for each shot, resulting in an animated, cohesive series of images that captures the energy, vibrancy, and lived-in feel of Gateway 737—offering a true sense of what life in this student housing community will be like.
